SUSPECT ARRESTED OVER FRAUDULENT TRANSFER OF COMPANY VEHICLES

Detectives from the Serious Crime Unit have apprehended Boris Owiye Agonga in connection with the fraudulent transfer of Digitalent Systems Limited's vehicles.

Using a web of forged documents, Agonga, who is one of the company directors, deceitfully transferred ownership of not one but two company vehicles: a Land Rover Discovery and a Nissan Sylphy, into his name.

Thanks to swift investigative work, one of the stolen vehicles, the Land Rover Discovery, has been recovered and is now securely held as exhibit.

Boris Owiye Agonga is currently in custody, undergoing processing pending arraignment.

About

The establishment, development and growth of Criminal Investigations Department can be traced to the evolvement of the Kenya Police to which it remains one of the key formations. The first police officers were recruited in 1887 by the Imperial British East Africa Company, I.B.E.A. to provide security for stores in Mombasa. It was from these humble beginnings that the Kenya Police was born.
