ONE ARRAIGNED FOR PUBLISHING FALSE INFORMATION
Benson Malova Ashiko, alias Ash Papi, has been arraigned on charges of Publishing False Information, in direct violation of the Computer Misuse and Cybercrime Act No.5 of 2018.
Ash Papi is accused of knowingly and unlawfully publishing false information on his X account, under the username Ash Papi @Mr_Papi5 on January 18, 2025.
He appeared before Milimani Court No. 5, where he pleaded not guilty to the charges and was granted a cash bail of Sh20,000.
The case is scheduled for mention on February 19, 2025.
